The ceremony of course is the most important part of any wedding, this page is to give you a bit of information about APSDJ’s ceremony packages.

 

    We’ve all been to a wedding where the guests are struggling to hear the ceremony or the venue or entertainer has large unsightly equipment that manages to be in every photograph. I’ve noticed that and taken steps to ensure that is virtually eliminated: from the ceremony speakers which easily cover a 60’ x 60’ area, the 50 foot thin cables and the micro ceremony system (tiny size, big power) to the wireless audio system. All of the components can be hidden almost anywhere.

 

Cost for the ceremony system depends on a few variables,

  1. Is APSDJ providing sound for your reception?
  2. Is the ceremony taking place at the same location as your reception?
  3. Is your ceremony taking place in the same physical room as your reception?

 

Those 3 questions influence the cost of the ceremony system.

 

  1. If APSDJ is not doing your reception $150 first hour/ $40 each hour after
  2. If APSDJ is doing your reception but the ceremony is at another location $200* flat rate
  3. If APSDJ is doing your reception and the ceremony is on site (same property) $100
  4. If APSDJ is doing your reception and the ceremony is in the same room *See below*

 

 

If your reception and ceremony are in the same room there is a cost cutting option for you. Depending on the length of your ceremony it is usually cheaper to just add an extra hour to your DJ package than to add the second ceremony system. ($60 vs $100) Remember the ceremony system is an entire second complete system which requires a full set up and tear down. Every system APSDJ has is completely capable of doing a ceremony as well as reception.

 

 

(*) The $200 flat rate is for the sole purpose that in the event your ceremony is at a location not on the same property a second DJ will be needed to do the ceremony, break down the equipment and transport it back to the reception hall or take it back home. General rule of thumb, reception dj’s once set up should not leave the reception venue area.
